2. What data we process

Browsing data. Our web server records technical data such as IP address, browser type and time of request. It is used only to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and is not used to identify you.

Bookings and messages. This site has no forms. If you call us, email us or book a table, we use the details you give us (name, phone, number of guests) only to manage your booking or reply to you.

3. Cookies

This site does not use cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are served from our own server.

4. Legal basis

Browsing data: legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Booking details: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5. Third parties

Our hosting provider processes browsing data on our behalf to serve the site. Links to Instagram and to our online-ordering partner take you to services that have their own privacy policies.

6. Retention

Server logs are kept for the short time needed for security and diagnostics. Booking details are deleted after your visit; emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing, by writing to ciao@fornorosso.example.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
